What We Do

Not just Water.........

In the early morning hours marking the beginning of winter and the first rainfall, the Water of Hope project had a profound impact by providing warmth to the children through winter clothing. They are wearing their new outfits on the first cold day, sending heartfelt thanks to everyone behind the project. Without you, the children of the camp would have faced the cold alone. Thank you all — you are a true source of warmth for everyone.

What We Do

In Gaza, needs shift with every week of crisis and we move with them. Water of Hope for Gaza is a community-led initiative delivering clean water, food, and winter clothing to displaced families living in camps. We serve one camp in Deir al Balah, home to over 350 families, and work with trusted local leaders to extend support to other areas where aid is scarce.

Whether it’s daily water trucks, warm clothes for children, or coordinating with community change-makers, our work is grounded in agility, care, and solidarity. We respond to what families need most today, and as conditions evolve.

01.

— Daily Water Deliveries – Deir al Balah

We fund and coordinate daily water trucks delivering 7,000 litres of clean water to one camp in Deir al Balah, home to around 350 families (1,500+ people). This water is used for drinking, cooking, washing, and preparing infant formula restoring dignity and safety to families who’ve gone months without aid.

02.

— Supporting Local Water Initiatives

Through Ibraheam and Heba’s leadership and their team, we identify areas where families lack access to water trucks and coordinate with other community change-makers to extend support. This flexible, locally driven approach ensures our impact reaches beyond one camp.

03.

— Expanding Impact Beyond Water

Water is just the beginning. As displacement continues and access to basic supplies remains limited, we’ve begun coordinating food packages to support families in the camp. These packages include essential staples: rice, lentils, canned goods, and cooking oil helping families prepare meals safely with the clean water we deliver.

04.

— Messages of Hope & Joy for Children

Every sponsored truck carries a message from a donor, a simple line of care that reminds families they are not forgotten, turning each delivery into a moment of connection and solidarity.

As part of our winter clothing distribution, we’ve also begun coordinating entertainment and emotional relief for children, small gatherings, playful moments, and creative activities that bring light into their lives. These efforts are modest but meaningful, and we’ll continue to find ways to bring joy, warmth, and dignity to children growing up in displacement.

05.

— Community Fundraising & Creative Action

From gigs and school appeals to illustrated reels and documentary films, our growing community of supporters shows that everyone has the power to help.

We are a community supporting a community wherever we are, and every act of care builds momentum.

06.

— Winter Clothing for Children

As temperatures drop, displaced families face new risks. We’ve begun supporting the distribution of children’s winter clothing: coats, shoes, and warm layers to help protect the youngest in the camp from cold and illness.

This initiative is coordinated alongside our water deliveries, ensuring families receive both hydration and warmth as part of a broader care package.
